Marcy Maxwell

Director of Collaborative Projects

Marcy serves as the Vice President of the United States Muaythai Federation, a non-profit organization whose primary mission is the development and sustainable growth of the sport.  Through partnership with the Mexican Muaythai Federation, Marcy is also working with local communities to provide important social programs for at risk youth, such as Sport is Your Gang which is being integrated into Los Angeles area youth programs."

Jackie Dansak

DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND LOGISTICS

Jackie’s brings over 20 years of global business experience to The Karuna Project.   Having spent the first half of her career serving senior roles in publicly listed high tech companies in Europe, Asia and North America, Jackie brings a wealth of program, budgeting, and P&L management experience to our team.  She is the founding and managing partner of amphibian global, a manufacturing operations consultancy firm that helps companies bring their hardware designs through to mass production. 

When Jackie's not hitting Muay Thai pads on a remote beach in Thailand, she enjoys time in her garden with her two Frenchies, Mikki and Maurice.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Leslie Smith

DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE PROGRAMMING

Leslie Smith has seen how martial arts can help everybody during her 10 year MMA career training and fighting all over the world.  She lives in Brisbane, CA and when she isn't supporting her teammates in the gym or at fights she likes reading fiction and walking her dog.
